Did you know that the Austin music scene generates nearly $2 Billion in economic activity and contributes more than $38 million in local tax revenue each year. Ten of thousands of visitors from around the world brought annually by Austin City Limits Music Festival, SXSW, and other events. These are visitors that support our local mom and pop stores, our trendy restaurants, and our "weird city". There are more than 9,000 musicians here that help make our community thrive, so here is your chance to give back to them.
We are putting on an event to raise money for HAAM, Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. HAAM is a organization to help provide access to affordable health care for Austin's working musicians. The event is scheduled for December 14th at Spinners Bar and Grill as well as the live venue next door. We will be having a two stage line up of musicians all day, local vendors, classic car show, pinup contest, and raffling off a classic car all of which the proceeds with be donated to HAAM.
