Austin is the "Live Music Capital of the World," yet many professional working musicians are self-employed and rarely have access to health insurance. These musicians are the people that are defining are culture and community here in Austin and here at Murpho's Rods and Customs we think it is important to support them as a community.

We are putting on an event to raise money for HAAM, Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. HAAM is a organization to help provide access to affordable health care for Austin's working musicians. The event is scheduled for December 14th at Spinners Bar and Grill as well as the live venue next door. We will be having a two stage line up of musicians all day, local vendors, classic car show, pinup contest, and raffling off a classic car all of which the proceeds with be donated to HAAM.
